Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), India's largest IT company, embroiled in a bribery controversy involving senior executives.

Whistleblower accused E.S. Chakravarthy, global head of TCS's resource management group (RMG), of accepting undisclosed commissions from staffing firms spanning several years.

TCS took action by placing the head of recruitment on leave, terminating four RMG executives, and blacklisting three implicated staffing firms.

Chakravarthy, who was a vice president at TCS since 1997, was prohibited from entering the office premises. His email account remains active.
