Gary Parsons, co-founder and former CEO of Talk Staff, has been named one of the UK’s 100 most notable small business owners by the Small Business Saturday UK campaign. Established in 2009, Talk Staff, a people consultancy firm with offices in Belper, Derby, and Nottingham, has thrived under Parsons’ leadership.
In March 2023, Parsons stepped down as CEO to focus on leadership mental health and wellbeing. Now serving as a non-executive director at Talk Staff, he has turned his attention to advocating for mental health in leadership, becoming an inspirational speaker and podcaster. His podcast, Leaders in Disguise, and leadership workshops aim to provide valuable insights into the importance of mental health in the workplace.
Recognized as part of the SmallBiz100 list, Parsons is celebrated for his contributions to the small business community. SmallBiz100 highlights independent businesses across the UK in the run-up to Small Business Saturday on December 7, a campaign designed to encourage consumers to support local enterprises.
