Inishowen Innovation (ii) has appointed Lee Tedstone as its first ‘Entrepreneur in Residence’ at the Buncrana hub, marking a significant milestone in ii’s mission to support the growth and development of startups and entrepreneurs in the Inishowen region.

Mr. Tedstone, bringing extensive experience and expertise, will provide guidance, mentorship, and support to startups and entrepreneurs. His voluntary role aims to foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in the region, driving economic growth and job creation.

With a successful background as an entrepreneur, industry domain expert, and investor, Mr. Tedstone offers a wealth of knowledge. As Entrepreneur in Residence, he will work closely with ii to provide startups and entrepreneurs access to his guidance through various opportunities. “I am thrilled to be appointed as the first Entrepreneur in Residence at Inishowen Innovation,” Mr. Tedstone said. “I am passionate about supporting entrepreneurs and startups, and I believe ii has the potential to become a generator for innovation and entrepreneurship in the region.”

Anne Marie McLaughlin, Innovation Manager at ii, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Lee as our first Entrepreneur in Residence. His expertise and experience will help us nurture and grow the startups and entrepreneurs in the area, and his commitment to local enterprise will play a vital role in establishing Inishowen as a successful innovation ecosystem.”
