U.S. stock futures were slightly changed in overnight trading on Tuesday after tech shares sold off for the continuous second day.
Dow Jones Industrial Average futures decreased by 0.1%. Nasdaq 100 futures and S&P 500 were also lower by about 0.1%.
HP company’s shares got a 7% up.
On Tuesday, the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite was decreased by 0.50% and the S&P 500 gained 0.17% and Dow Jones Industrial Average was 194 points higher.
Treasury Yields have been rising since the renomination of J Powell as chairman of the Central Bank on Monday by President J Biden.
Senior Investment Strategist at U.S. Bank Wealth Management said, “It’s certainly a story of more rotation. The market is now with the Powell renomination thinking this is a reopening story, which sets aside any of the risks or concerns we might have about rising Covid infection rates.”
