A Tech Giant to Call its Employees Back to Office

The Silicon valley Tech giant, Google has finally welcomed back its employees into their sprawling offices full of exciting amenities like fitness centers, massage rooms and nap pods. The move comes as the company is ready to bring workers back to their office nearly 2 years since the pandemic started.

Google is ready to relax some rules which includes social distancing, vaccines, testing and masks. Another notable development is that google will issue a circular which will no longer require vaccinations as a condition of employment for US workers. It plans a transition to hybrid working model that requires most employees to come to office physically for at least 3 days a week.

“We’re at the beginning of a journey, so the office experience will feel pretty similar to what it was like pre-Covid”, said Google Workplace Services VP David Radicliffe.

Google is one of the first major corporations that is open to working from office signalling a return to normalcy post the pandemic.
