Apple Intends to Release M2 MacBook Pros in early 2023

While Apple was expected to release MacBook Pros with the M2 chip before the end of 2022, it now appears that the company will wait until early next year. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple will likely release the 14-inch (356 mm) and 16-inch (406 mm) M2 MacBook Pros alongside the macOS Ventura 13.3 update.

According to Gurman, “Apple has seldom unveiled new products in January or February in recent years, so I’d expect the new Macs to be announced by March.”

He added that Apple has typically released new Macs in March, most recently with the Mac Studio desktop in March 2022. Gurman also mentioned Apple’s most recent earnings conference, in which CFO Luca Maestri stated that sales revenue would fall in December due to the lack of new MacBook Pros.

When the new MacBooks are released, they will most likely have the same look as 2021 original but will include the cutting-edge M2 Pro and M2 Max chipsets, which will offer enhancements in performance, graphics, and other areas.
