Brief us about your career path as a leader until your current position. What were the challenges that you had to overcome?
My journey as a leader wasn’t mapped out with a clear plan but was greatly influenced by the guidance of remarkable mentors and role models. Their mentorship sculpted my skills, disciplined my approach and instilled a resilient, proactive mindset.
After graduating as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, my career path took a surprising turn within three years of graduation. Driven by a passion for technology and a firm belief in my potential, I took a deep dive into the ‘Tech Industry.’
As you would imagine, my early journey was not without challenges. Some of these challenges included sourcing and onboarding talent for specific roles effectively, refining our workplace to retain skilled individuals and fostering trust within our team. The shift to remote work also presented hurdles in maintaining seamless collaboration among dispersed teams. All in all, staying updated with the rapidly evolving digital transformation landscape has been a continuous challenge.
