Portuguese renewable energy company Greenvolt Group and Waterford-based Enerpower are poised to create 100 new positions. This announcement aligns with their shared goal of advancing energy objectives both domestically and throughout Europe. Over the next five years, the companies aim to install approximately 500MW of renewable energy, enough to supply power to the city of Dublin. Additionally, they plan to explore opportunities in the UK renewables market.

Together, we are well-positioned to capitalize on the numerous prospects in both Ireland and the UK.”
Owen Power, CEO of Enerpower, views this partnership as a significant advancement for the sustainable energy sector. “Our collaboration with Greenvolt Group will not only foster innovation but also accelerate the transition to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly energy landscape.” Last year, Greenvolt Group acquired a 51% stake in Enerpower.
