Pre-Seed Extension funding totaling $2.35 million was raised by Kino, an interactive digital movie platform provider based in Los Angeles, California.

Leading the round was Cathie Wood’s ARK Venture Fund, with participation from Hyperithm, Mindfulness, Lightning Capital, WAGMI, and additional parties. Prior to this, Slow Ventures and Sequoia Capital contributed $2 million to Kino’s pre-seed fundraising round, increasing the company’s total pre-seed funding to over $4.35 million.

The money will be used by the business to increase operations and development initiatives.
Through its interactive, data-driven platform, Kino—led by CEO Daril Fannin and COO Austin Worrell—empowers filmmakers and fosters connections with fan communities. With the help of its technology, filmmakers may engage with their audience through an interactive social streaming platform that gives analytical insights and a tactical launchpad.

It serves as a central location for moviegoers to find the newest releases and interact with their favorite performers through interactive screenings and behind-the-scenes access.

Cold Meat, starring Allen Leech and Nina Bergman, Double Down South, featuring Kim Coates and Lili Simmons, and Molli and Max in the Future, starring Zosia Mamet, are among the recent debuts on Kinp.
