Nvidia has announced the launch of NIM Agent Blueprints, a comprehensive catalog of AI workflows and software resources designed to expedite the development and deployment of generative AI-powered agents and applications. Available as a free download, these blueprints cater to various key use cases, including customer service avatars, drug discovery, and data extraction from documents.
Developers can leverage these resources to quickly start building and deploying AI agents customized for their business needs. Nvidia plans to expand this offering by adding resources for additional applications in the near future.
This initiative from Nvidia, led by CEO Jensen Huang, comes as enterprises across industries remain optimistic about the potential of generative AI to enhance productivity and reduce costs. To facilitate seamless access and deployment, Nvidia is collaborating with several technology solutions providers and global system integrators.
According to a McKinsey report, the deployment of generative AI could generate between $2.6 trillion and $4.4 trillion annually across more than 60 use cases. While enterprises have utilized generative AI for tasks like content generation and summarization, there is growing interest in developing more sophisticated applications using AI agents backed by proprietary data. However, the process of building and deploying these customized agents is often complex and time-consuming, leading to delays and increased costs.
Nvidia’s NIM Agent Blueprints aim to address these challenges by providing a comprehensive suite of tools and resources. These include sample applications built with Nvidia NIM, NeMo, and partner microservices, along with reference code, customization documentation, and a Helm chart for deployment. By using pre-trained AI workflows, developers can jumpstart the development process and deploy their applications across accelerated data centers and cloud environments. The blueprints are also designed to improve over time, creating a continuous learning cycle that enhances performance as users interact with the applications.
Currently, Nvidia offers three major blueprints: a digital human for customer service, generative virtual screening for accelerated drug discovery, and multimodal PDF data extraction for enterprise RAG. Each blueprint incorporates Nvidia’s advanced technologies, such as ACE, Omniverse RTX, Audio2Face, Llama 3.1 NIM microservices, and BioNemo.
Nvidia plans to introduce new NIM Agent Blueprints monthly, expanding the range of applications for customer service, content generation, software engineering, retail shopping advisors, and R&D. To simplify access, Nvidia has partnered with technology solution providers, including Deloitte, Accenture, SoftServe, and World-Wide Technology, who will integrate the blueprints into their service offerings.
Additionally, for enterprises seeking to deploy custom blueprints in their data centers or the cloud, Nvidia provides full-stack accelerated infrastructure support through global partners. This includes Nvidia-certified systems from Cisco, Dell Technologies, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and Lenovo, as well as Nvidia-accelerated cloud instances from Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
