On his estate in Hawaii, Mark Zuckerberg has disclosed that he has a herd of beer-drinking cattle, and this is causing quite a stir online.

The CEO of Meta is working on a project to “create some of the highest quality beef in the world,” calling it his “most delicious” to yet.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, the 39-year-old revealed his plans, describing how his top-secret hideaway on the island of Ko’olau will now be used for breeding cattle.

“We grow and produce beer here on the ranch, and the cattle are wagyu and angus, and they’ll grow up eating macadamia meal,” Zuckerberg wrote.

“We desire a localized, vertically integrated process throughout. Given that a cow consumes between 2,250 and 4,500 kg of feed year, there are a lot of macadamia tree acres. My daughters assist with caring for our various animals and planting the mac trees. Even if we’re only getting started, it’s enjoyable to get better every season. This is my favorite project so far, out of all of them.

The post, predictably, drew both a lot of support and condemnation.

One person wrote, “You ever see someone living your dream life?”

At this point, you’re essentially a human Swiss Army knife, someone else commented.

However, there was also criticism. One person wrote, “That is an absolutely ridiculous waste of money, land, and resources.”

“Never stop harming the environment. One of the main sources of greenhouse gasses is the raising of cattle. Another person said, “What a deplorable and entitled thing to be doing.”

Luckily, other people were raising the crucial queries. One person questioned, “Wait, but don’t they get drunk from the beer?”

Online information sources claim that beer is fed to calves in order to increase appetite and aid in digestion. Some people think it enhances the meat from the herd in terms of flavor and texture.
