Windows 11 with its launch introduced a new Windows Settings app. This includes new Apps and Features page, which allows the user to configure the default file type for the applications, browsers, and music player running on Windows 11 OS.
However, the new setting switched Microsoft Edge as the default browser for everything. With the new configure users found it complicated to change the default browser of their wish.
Microsoft, one of the most open companies with the most choices, rolled back the earlier setting. With this, the users can easily switch their default browser with just one click. This will help the user modify the default browser setting for all web-related connections like HTTP and HTTPS easily just like it was in the previous update.
