Apple Watch Series 8 to Feature a Temperature Sensor

Apple

The latest Apple Watch version 8 reportedly include a body temperature sensor that will caution the user if there is a possibility of having fever, as per Mark Gurman from Bloomberg. The new watch might not give the exact temperature figure, but it probably can notify the user in prompting to use a regular thermometer or visit the doctor.

He said the Series 8 is in the process of passing Apple’s testing guidelines, before including the body temperature measurement sensor. Gurman says he believes the feature is “a go-ahead” for the standard Series 8 and the highly talked-about rugged edition Apple is creating for extreme athletes, while writing in the latest edition of his Power On newsletter.

Recapitulating his earlier findings, Gurman said the series 8 will have minor changes in other features while retaining the same processing set-up as version 7 and version 6 respectively. The higher-end Series 8 models could include an updated display, he mentioned.
