Facebook recently announced that Messenger’s video call feature would include multiplayer games. In 14 currently available titles, you can use this feature to converse with friends and family
New Features in Facebook Messenger
Messenger is now available for iOS, Android, and the web. The video call gaming feature does not require any particular installation. Old favorites such as Words with Friends and Mini Golf FRVR and newer games like Card Wars and Exploding Kittens are among the 14 games shown off at launch. Each game is intended to be played by as few as two individuals. However, each title gloats varying most extreme player numbers.
Each game is optimized for the service with clearly delineated leaderboards and a user interface that uses the Messenger experience. To play games in Messenger’s library, simply launch a video call, tap the group mode button, and then the “Play” icon. Since the company has tested Messenger-enabled games for a few years, nothing has stuck, so one hopes this new mode will last.
The send-off arrangement here is generally thin, at 14 titles, yet Facebook Gaming says all the more free games are not too far off not long from now. To that end, the company encourages developers interested in adding games to the platform to contact their Partner Manager for more information. This information comes just a few months after Meta discontinued the Facebook Gaming app.
