General Motors unveiled its latest all-electric vehicle, the 2026 Cadillac Vistiq, a three-row SUV to start at less than the iconic Escalade. It is the final launch vehicle in Cadillac’s EV onslaught, which will also include the Lyriq, the Escalade IQ and other electric variants. The Vistiq will arrive in dealer showrooms early in 2025, trying to combine the DNA of Cadillac luxury with cutting-edge EV technology.
Priced from $78,790, the Cadillac Vistiq fits between the Lyriq ($63,500) and high-end Escalade IQ ($130,000). The product is often called a “mini Escalade,” which it most definitely is, and offers a design that’s mostly in tune with what Cadillac has in mind visually but does so in a much more modest, approachable way. Cadillac Director of Marketing Brad Franz says the Vistiq is pitched as a closer cousin to the Escalade than to Lyriq, the first electric Cadillac, launched in 2022.
Featuring a thin light grille, vertical and horizontal front lights, and a common interior design, Vistiq personifies the modern look which will distinguish Cadillac. A seamless, curved dashboard display integrates cutting-edge technology outlining luxury and innovation, while at its heart, a 102-kilowatt-hour battery pack is connected to 615 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque promising good performance. The Cadillac has foretold that the Vistiq will have a full charge driving distance of about 300 miles.
Production of the Vistiq will take place at GM’s Spring Hill Manufacturing plant in Tennessee with that vehicle being sold around the world, both in North America. The Vistiq will be sold in three trims at launch – Luxury, Sport, and Premium Luxury, with a top-tier Platinum trim to arrive later in the summer of 2025. That marks the final piece in Cadillac’s broader transition to an all-electric future – although the brand has retreated from its original timetable for an entirely EV-exclusive lineup, saying now that the transition will instead be driven by customer demand rather than a set date. The 2026 Cadillac Vistiq underscores GM’s commitment to expanding its electric portfolio while maintaining its high standards for luxury and performance in the evolving EV market.
