With his wealth of knowledge, formal education, and outstanding leadership abilities, Wilburn is well-positioned to offer a distinct viewpoint and stimulate economic development for the Statesboro Bulloch Chamber members.
In his role as Director of Business Development, Wilburn will be in charge of cultivating connections with nearby companies and putting plans into action to improve the chamber members’ economic health.
With a track record of success in marketing and communications, entrepreneurship, creative direction, and a thorough awareness of the neighborhood, Wilburn is qualified to spearhead the Chamber’s initiatives to support the expansion and well-being of its members.
Wilburn brings a breadth of expertise from her work in business, strategic planning, and higher education to the Chamber. His previous position was working for more than 12 years at Georgia Southern University, where he established strategic alliances and assisted in the implementation of numerous successful initiatives. This experience gave him a unique perspective on the requirements of local businesses and organizations. His commitment to fostering good relationships and his enthusiasm for company development, leadership, and education will surely help the Statesboro Bulloch Chamber of Commerce to continue to succeed.
