Photographs of Delivery for Customer Assurance to Begin Soon: FedEx


In a new decision, FedEx will soon initiate the service of providing the photograph every parcel as a proof of safe delivery.

The team of FedEx will click photos of parcels at the delivery destination to give a proper proof of confirmed delivery in cases the signature of receipt is not required.

Initially, their service of offering the delivery photographs is expected to begin in select areas before scaling it fully to the US and Canada respectively.

Announcing the program in a press release today, Brie Carere, FedEx’s chief customer officer, said “This is something e-commerce merchants and customers have been asking for, and we are proud to be the first to announce this service will be available to residential customers”.

The customers of both FedEx Ground delivery and FedEx Express can avail this free service regardless of having a login to the company’s free portal, FedEx Delivery Manger.
