Google is improving the mobile video editor within its Photos app for Android and iOS, implementing a series of new editing tools and AI-powered presets intended to make video editing easier for users.

New features in Android update: There is a “Speed” tool added that can let the user make slow-motion or fast-motion videos. A new “Auto Enhance” button improves video quality by enhancing color and stability. Trimming will also become easy as the tool to cut the video precisely so that the editing process would be better facilitated. The most common features – mute, enhance, stabilize, and export frame are now positioned directly below the video timeline to be accessed easily and comfortably.

Google is launching video presets on both Android and iOS platforms that uses AI. For instance, users will be able to adjust the lightning and speed of their videos with one touch. Users may also superimpose such effects as slow motion and zooming on specific subjects within the video.”. The AI features will thus be placed in a new, solely “Presets” tab offered below the video timeline and separate from other editing tools available.

Writes Google, “Starting today, these changes are rolling out and will take a little time to reach all devices. Along with new video editing features, making professional-looking videos has never been easier. As demand for high-quality video content rises, these enhancements prove that Google is committed to always improving its service offerings to meet the needs of customers in an increasingly competitive market.”. Google Photos also stands out as a great alternative for easy and effective video editing solutions since it will enable advanced AI-enabled editing features.
